From the Board
At the recent board meeting the following items were discussed:·
  • Air conditioning for Buffet completed
  • Club Grant applications were approved for Sailability and Port Macquarie Longboard Club
  • New honour boards installed
  • Board reviewed Strategic plan noting good progress in a number of areas:
  1. Increase in membership to 14,200
  2. Increase in younger demographic
  3. Members under 50 increased from 20% of memberships to 30%.
  4. 305 “Splash” Kids Club members
  5. Success of Social Media campaign
  6. Significantl​y positive feedback for Drift Café
  7. Increase in visitations to approx 3,500 per month.
  8. Increased revenue growth across all trading areas.
The Big Dig 2017
Join the Port City crew dressed in their pirate gear for a wonderful family fun day this Sunday at Towns Beach at The Big Dig. Registration​s from 9 am with Face painting, cupcakes, a barbecue breakfast, jumping castle, pirate games and visits from Healthy Harold from Life Education and Ditto from Bravehearts will keep all the pirates, both young and old, entertained while waiting their turn to enjoy the Big Dig.

Digging for treasure will kick off from 11 am, heaps of great prizes up for grabs so make sure you get there early!

Congratulati​ons Bowlers
The Board would like to congratulate the Men's and Ladies Grade 1 Pennant teams and Men's Grade 2s for their recent Zone Pennant wins. The Ladies and Men's Grade 2 teams are off to play at state level, whilst Men's Grade 1 still have one more game to play this Saturday at Taree before they make state. We wish all of the team's great success in their upcoming games!
