At the recent board meeting the following items were discussed:
  • Green fee charges for the coming year have been maintained at $8
  • All members who may be interested in standing for the Board of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club should register to attend the Prospective Director Seminars being held at 6:00 pm on 20th June and 25th July. Members who have not attended a seminar this year or in past years will be ineligible to stand for Director. Interested members should register at Reception
  • Management is investigatin​g the possibility of placing a mirror and metal grating at the driveway exit to the Club.
  • KPI’s to April 2017 Membership at 30th April 14,101 (KPI 12,000)
  • Membership demographic Under 50 31.13%. (KPI 30%) (Under 50 membership at the end of 2016 was 20%)
  • Visitor Numbers to 30th April 133,467 (KPI 120,000)
  • Bar Sales $2,727,359 (KPI $2,584,080)
  • Gaming Revenue $5,848,788 (KPI $5,885,944)
  • EBITDARD* 13.58% (KPI 20%)

Off to State!
Congratulati​ons to the Port City Men's Grade 1 Pennant team who are off to the State Pennant playoffs after their win against Tuncurry on the weekend. The 66-60 win see's them placed 1st in their grade and automatic entry to the playoffs held at St Johns Park in August. The Port City pennant teams have had a very successful year and we look forward to hearing the state results from both the Men's Grade 1s & 2s and Ladies Grade 1 teams.

The Blues are one up on the Maroons and we couldn't be happier! Don't miss all the action of Game 2 live here at Port City on Wednesday, June 21st.

Our footy food will be on again with Hotdogs, Marinated & Crispy Wings to keep you going through the night! We also have origin hour for $4 schooners of standard beer between 6&7pm, how good's that!

Jack Selected for State
The Board, Management, and Staff would like to congratulate Jack Lewis who has been selected to play against Queensland in the under 25's 7 a side team for New South Wales.

His selection was due to being in the under 25 development squad after winning the district triples earlier this year.

We wish Jack all the best in his first test series on July 27-28th.
